The weight is split evenly across all four proteins - roughly a quarter each of beef, pork, chicken, and lamb - and each protein carries the same mix as its own Homestead Box: for beef, about 50% ground with specialty cuts and steaks; for pork, an even mix of chops, bacon, and sausage; for chicken, breast, thighs, drumsticks, ground, and leg quarters; and for lamb, chops, leg and shoulder roasts, ground, and shanks. It's a target mix that varies with availability, since every animal is a little different.

Everything is raised the same way we feed our own family: beef and lamb are 100% grass-fed and grass-finished, pork and chicken are pasture-raised on non-GMO, corn-free, soy-free feed, and no animal is ever given vaccines, hormones, or antibiotics - ever. Our pastures are never sprayed with chemicals.
